Well Deanna has now got her 1st day of school under her belt. She has gone from Rookie to Pro all in one day. She had to have her practice hairdo last night to show me how she wanted it done. She picked her clothes, her pretty and her snack. I guess my work here is done. She took a few extra minutes to go to sleep because she was so excited. She loves her new teacher and wants to buy her a little gift. She was happy to pose for as many pictures as I could take. You can see from the pictures that she enjoyed being a big JK girl today and getting in line for the first but definitely not the last time. Katie was so excited to see Andrew and Deanna when they got home from school that she ran as quickly as she could from the kitchen to give them a big hug. She then continued on to tell daddy all about her day (which started when I picked her up and continued on for 45 minutes). There will be no trouble finding out what she's been up to each day-she will be an open book. Two down and one to go! Katie in the meantime enjoyed some one on one time with mommy and daddy. She came in the house and said "hey, it's empty. There's nobody here. Echo, echo, echo."
