Picnic in the park

Today was a beautiful day and since Daddy was working, it was the kids and I. We had a walk to the park (and yes Katie fell once as usual). We rolled along a picnic cooler, had the backpack with hats, sunglasses and fun stuff and the wagon (which none of the kids rode in) equipped with pails and shovels to dig in the sand. The kids were told they had to sit on the picnic blanket and eat before they could play. They ate every last bit and the playing was underway. It was a great coulple of hours and the kids even got a little worn out from all the running around-I think!

On the way home, some neighbors even got a good chuckle because with all of our rolling gear for our special picnic, they said it looked like we were going on a long trip. It was just long enough!
