Questions.....

I thought we would take a little drive last night for a quick run through the sprinkler at Grammie and Buddy's house so we could have a little visit. On the way down, the kids were listening to Sunday School songs which started some interesting questions from Andrew.
He asked about babies and when I explained that God created everything and that mommies and daddies take care of this precious gift, he asked "did you and daddy lay some babies then?" (he has been watching the movie Dinosaurs) I told him that mommy carries the baby in her tummy. He said.."I wish I was a girl so I could carry a baby in my tummy...no..wait...I'm glad I'm a boy. My buddy is a boy, daddy, Uncle Greg and we are big and strong. We can help the mommies though." He then said "Mom, sometimes I don't always hear God...." I explained how you can't see wind but you can see how it moves the trees and even though we can't always see God, we can look around and see his wonderful creations. I told him that if we listen close enough...God can talk to us and speak to our hearts. He then said..."I just follow my heart then and God will take care of the rest won't he Mom?" I think he is ready to give the sermon this week at church because it certainly made me stop and pay attention. I love my Andrew!
