After a great warm-up from our house to Grammie & Papa's house, the kids enjoyed entertaining us with all of their songs. We just bring the CD's and they provide the entertainment. If you ask them, they will tell you they saw a beautiful sunrise and a wonderful sunset. They can't make that happen...but GOD can!! That's one of the songs they sang us.
Andrew helped Papa wheel Great Papa down from his room. We took a couple of pictures, visited and then went back upstairs. Just before lunch, I had opportunity to play some of Grandpa's favorites on the piano and he sang along. For the first time that I can ever remember, Grandpa kept saying he wished he could see us. That's the first time in 33 years!
There were some dogs visiting while we were there and this was the second one we ran into~ a beautiful white lab named Fudd!
What a great visit! We left just as Great Grandpa was being served his lunch. He was in great spirits and enjoyed the visit as much as we did. Now he's got some updated photos of all of his grandkids in his memory box for his visitors to see.
