So it was off to the reception where fun was had by all. I have a great snapshot which I may post later of my mom joining Greg and Sue in their "Fonzie" dance!
So the funeral part of this story happened on the way home. We were driving along the I-69 and getting closer to the Canadian border when I noticed a motorcycle on the side of the road. With another look, Dwayne noticed the biker laying beside the shoulder of the road where his bike was in the grass not moving. He assumed he was asleep but I think he must have been dead. Who sleeps that close to the Interstate when he could have pulled further over in the grass or to a service center for a nap???!! Just as we were contemplating all this(and noone believed my dead guy theory), I heard someone in the car gasp. While staring out the right side of the van to see the "dead guy", we did not see an approaching minivan with a deer strapped to the top. Good day for the hunters but not the deer. His eyes were open and his tongue was hanging out the side of his mouth. So much for our beloved BAMBI!

Was the deer wearing a black sweater?
