What better way to cool down on a hot summer (okay..almost summer) night. After picking the kids up from daycare, we took a dip in the little blue pool. I decided to get in as well-WOW that was interesting. Andrew had filled the pool to the top the night before and when I got in, let's just say the amount of water displacement took me back to high school days. Is that really why you learn to measure diplacement? So you know how much you have gained since your days in high school? Let's just say I chose not to do any calculations. We simply enjoyed the little blue pool with the slide. Our big pool sprang a leak last year and since we will be moving soon we have not yet replaced it. Uncle Greg and Auntie Sue to the rescue-they gave us this fun little blue pool with the slide to enjoy in the meantime. Each of the kids took their turns standing at the top proudly introducing themselves in true circus fashion. "Introducing the great Katie (or Andrew or Deanna) in the whole wide world." SPLASH. They all sat together after each took many turns jumping in (after the introduction of course) and splashed until there was practically no water left in the pool-what a splashin' GOOD TIME!
